Located in the beautiful Sunol Valley, Calaveras Nurseries, Inc. is a family operated business. We have been open to the public since the early 1970's and were formally called 'Sunol Nurseries'. Conveniently situated between Fremont and Pleasanton, we are a fairly short drive from anywhere in the greater Bay Area.
At any given time you can ask for help and advice from one of the three generations of family running the nursery. With the combined years of knowledge between all of us, I'm sure we will be able to come up with the right answers or advice to what you are asking! Whether it is Bud (aka Pa), myself (Dave), or one of my three sons, Adam, Damien & Dylan, we are here to give you the best in service to make your shopping experience here at Calaveras Nursery as enjoyable as expected!
Our goal here is to offer the widest selection of Landscape Plants at the Best Prices around. Quality is a key factor in everything we do out here. When we offer some plants "on sale" from time to time you can be rest assured that these sale items will be of the Best Quality as well, unlike other nurseries or garden centers that reduce the prices on low quality plants that would otherwise be destined for the compost heap! We look at every plant here as if it were to be planted at our homes, if I would not feel easy planting it, I will not sell it!
Upon your first visit here, it will become apparent to you how much pride we take in how we run our nursery!
Whether your are visiting us to just browse, or make a purchase, we feel that you will be comfortable with our "Down to Earth" atmosphere.
There is plenty of parking area, so bring your cars, trucks, trailers, or even a semi or two if you need to make a BIG purchase! The parking lot and sales areas are graveled. We also have plant carts for your shopping convenience. We do not have any shopping carts or wagons to push the little one in, so we ask you to please bring your strollers or kidpacks if the need be.
For over 30 years we have been suppliers for many landscape professionals and homeowners alike, with our quality plants and service. Over the years we have had the opportunity to meet many new faces and form friendships with our regular customers. We take pride in the business relationships we have built and look forward to creating new ones in the years to come!
